Rating: Double Bogey
This book is the all too common good intention/premise and poor execution.
As business book readers aren’t we getting a little tired of the horrible attempt at writing a parable story? Gosh, with this one, I feel my 12 year old writes more interesting, realistic stories!
Shocking as well, that they seem to represent how this approach is used to reduce violence in prisons, but really takes no steps to clarify, justify, or exemplify how it truly does that.
Again for me – a book such as “Fierce Conversations” is a much better attempt at conflict resolution than this book will ever be.
What caught my eye: Resistance is your ally, not your enemy, because it shows you that your present course of action is not working.
